Doping and Its Importance in Tennis / Key Points to Consider

Dear Stakeholders and Tournament Organizers, One of the top priorities of the Turkish Tennis Federation is to support the development of tennis in our country and to prepare for competition at the international level.

The Turkish Tennis Federation has completed a significant initiative aimed at enhancing the development and improving the effectiveness of training for nearly 3000 tennis coaches.

The Turkish Tennis Federation (TTF) has released the final report of the “Turkish Tennis Initiative” workshop, which was held last December at Bahçeşehir University, during a successful new chapter marked by the Men’s National Tennis Team’s victory over Mexico in the Davis Cup and promotion to World Group I.

A total of 5 million TRY will be awarded to five innovative projects in the field of sports technologies by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye. These projects aim to enhance domestic and national production and contribute to the country’s technological capacity.

In the Davis Cup World Group I Play-Off tie hosted by TED Sports Club, Turkey defeated Mexico 5–0 to earn promotion to World Group I.
