A New Era at the ITF: The World Tennis Transformation Begins

19 June 2026

A New Era at the ITF: The World Tennis Transformation Begins

As part of the transformation process announced in October 2025, the International Tennis Federation (ITF) will officially change its name to World Tennis as of June 25, 2026.

In line with the new structure, a gradual transition process will be implemented across various areas, particularly in organizations, digital platforms, and player services. Within this scope, the new corporate identity will be phased into the World Tennis Tour, World Tennis Tour Juniors, Beach Tennis World Tour, World Tennis Masters Tour, and Wheelchair Tennis Tour organizations.

In the initial phase, the new identity will be put into use starting June 25, 2026, across Wheelchair Tennis, Masters, and Beach Tennis organizations. While all World Tennis organizations are planned to fully transition to the new structure by January 2027, tournaments under the World Tennis Tour and World Tennis Tour Juniors will continue using their current visual identities throughout 2026. The full transition for these categories is projected to be completed on January 1, 2027.

Digital Platforms Are Being Renewed

Within the framework of the transition process, the IPIN platform used by players is also being renewed. As of June 24, 2026, the IPIN system will begin serving under the name World Tennis Tour Zone. The platform’s website address will be tourzone.world.tennis. New features are scheduled to be added to the system in the coming months.

Additionally, the IPIN number used by players will undergo a name change only, becoming the World Tennis ID.

The ITF Academy, where coach education and online training content are provided, will also continue its operations in the new era under the name World Tennis Academy. The current web address will remain in use for a short period before the platform migrates to academy.world.tennis. The scope and content of the educational services will remain unchanged.

E-Mail Addresses and Digital Channels Updated

As part of the World Tennis transformation, the institution’s e-mail extensions will change to @world.tennis. Furthermore, the official website and social media platforms of the ITF will adopt the new identity starting June 25, 2026. The existing website address will remain active for a short period, with plans to update the web address to world.tennis in the future.

Social media platform handles will be updated as follows:

Instagram: @worldtennisofficial

X: @worldtennis

TikTok: @worldtennis

Facebook: @worldtennisofficial

LinkedIn: World Tennis

YouTube: @worldtennisofficial

Transition Process for Tours Continues

New logos, design elements, and brand guidelines to be used across the Beach Tennis, Masters, and Wheelchair Tennis tours continue to be shared with national federations and tournament organizers. Following the release of all relevant materials, the adoption of the new identity in organizations will be strongly encouraged.

As the Turkish Tennis Federation, we are closely monitoring this significant transformation process within the global tennis ecosystem and will continue to share developments with the public.
